Maybe some newly found perspectives at the start will help Harden reconsider

Assuming the reasons for Harden wanting to leave are/may be related to:
    - He doesn’t get to call the shots anymore, he didn’t approve the Wall, Wood, Boogie acquisitions
    - He doesn’t believe the new management knows how to build a championship team, including firing Morey/MDA
    - The team is ‘falling apart’ with all the drama
    - He and Wall are both ball dominant
    - The new offense de-emphasizes isolation scoring

Some things that have emerged since Harden’s trade demand that may be providing new perspective on these:
    - Harden being the only one in the NBA getting a fine for breaking Covid protocol (was there another?) maybe provides a wake-up call that shows the NBA he’s the one with the commitment to winning problem, not the Rockets, and it’s time to change
    - The emergence of Wood, the play of the reserves, and Silas’ coaching provides evidence that new management may know more than Harden after all
    - The first game of the season is against a team with two ball dominant guards, with McCollum regarded as the most ball dominant guard in the league (link), showing how effective it can be
    - Wall has already said he’ll do whatever it takes to win, and spot up if he has to, Gordon has said he’s be glad to come off the bench, and Boogie says he’s never been happier and will support Wood as a superstar - it all sounds like the chemistry of a winning team vs one filled w/ drama
    - No team has seemed to rush to offer anything of compelling value for Harden, a wake up call related to the first point
    - He’s actually had a chance to experience what was the #1 offense in the NBA in its entire history (last year in Dallas where Silas played a key role) - hmm, maybe it makes sense for the person who considers themselves the #1 offensive player in the NBA to take their game even further after 44 points and 17 assists in the first game...
    - Maybe everyone’s had time to let their ego take a rest and see how great this team can be...
