But does it bother anyone else that Luther Head seems to be the receiver of the extra shots now that Yao has been injured? It seems to me that we should have other people (namely Scola and even sometimes Landry) taking more shots than Luther. He just seems to look for his own shot a lot now that Yao is hurt and those shots haven't exactly been good ones in the 2 games since Yao's injury. Other thoughts?

They're alright. most of his shots are in tha flow of tha offense. they're not bad shot except his heat check three's.

PLus he's more agressive and it showed when he go to tha line 8 times tonite. rahter him than our other guards not named tmac.

When Scola is in the game I think he gets his fair share of shot attempts just like Head when he is in the game but I rather see Head Shoot the ball then pass it!! His passing is just terrible to watch, every time he's about to pass I cover my eyes! but I don't think there is anyone replacing Yao... everyone is contributing and shooting or creating when they are open or know they have a good opportunity to do so, which is why we have seen Tracy not taking it upon himself to do everything like last year.

Like it was mentioned, he gets almost all his shots in the flow of the game. He isn't a black hole by any means.

Plus, it's nice to have a guy who is able to get by his defender (mostly because everyone thinks he will shoot a three) and then get to the line and actually make his shots.

Also it should be mentioned that he got so many shots because we have played the bench so much. We haven't had to have our starters out there the past couple of games, so of course he is going to take over. It's a breath of fresh air if you ask me.

I was actually HOPING this would happen after the Bobby Jackson trade. In my opinion, Luther SHOULD look for his shot more now. He no longer has to play point and set up the offense. He is far better suited to play a Rip Hamilton type role (coming off of the bench) than to be put in a position where he has to make multiple reads/decisions. I don't think he is the best decision maker at times, and I like this version of him more. Shoot, make hard cuts, and force opposing 2's to chase him contantly.
