During that time, we have seen: --Over 2,000 dead American soldiers, over 15,000 wounded American soldiers, and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians, all due to a war that was based, at best on faulty intelligence --The largest budget and trade deficits in US history --Secret programs that tap the phones and monitor the bank accounts of American citizens, in clear violation of the Constitution --A pathetic, unorganized and ineffective Federal response to one of the largest natural disasters ever to hit the USA, one that still has thousands of Gulf Coast residents homeless Yet you concentrate on the media? Pull your head out and open your eyes!
You are smarter than this. Please tell me! So the evil stupid terrorists would never guess that we would not be listening to their phone calls or tracking their monies? Unlikely. Or are we to believe that the evil stupid terrorists have moles in our judicial system to let them know what the Bush Admin is trying to get the secret courts to allow? That is not the debate. Why doesn't the Bush Admin get his subpenos the legal way from a rubber stamp, secret court? Perhaps the Bush Admin is lazy or arrogant or maybe they have something to hide, something so egregious that a rubber stamp court would not allow?
If everybody knew about it, then there really wasn't any news value in it, so there was no need to publish it.
I have one question about why Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan was on the list for liberals. He is far from a liberal. They don't really get much more conservative than Nation of Islam. The whole thing is funny. GOP supporters have to be the biggest whiney babies I have ever seen or heard. They are crying like shcool kids because the joke segment of Worst Person in the World isn't a 50/50 split. Those poor babies, the world is really against them.
Where was your outrage when the Bush administration blew the cover of an Al Qaeda turncoat who was in email contact with terrorists all over the world, and sharing everything with the Feds. He was setting them up and leading them into traps left and right, until the whitehouse leaked his identity to the press. Where was your outrage then? Or is this another case of only being upset when someone you don't like does something?
If only 174 out of 600 "Worst" people were branded by the MRC conservative and only 23 were labeled liberal, that leaves 403 that were not labeled as either conservative or liberal, proving the point that the "Worst Person in the World" label is apolitical. More than two thirds of the people that Olberman criticized in that segment were not political at all, which goes a long way toward showing that the segment has nothing to do with politics and a LOT to do with actions. Newsbusters isn't vary good at spinning this stuff.
Looks like the whining and crying that conservatives did over the joke statement wasn't even very accurate. Wow, Keith is on a roll. I hope he continues to set the record straight.

And this proves????? As far as I can tell it doesn't show anything except that more people watch Bill. It doesn't prove who is right or wrong, who is more or less patriotic, who cares more or less for the troops, for our nation, or anything. If we judge by popularity then Britney Spears is a great musical talent, and American Idol is some of the best television ever. Keith did have an interesting point about the ratings trend over the year last night though. His ratings are going up and Bill's down. In fact all of MSNBC's ratings are going up, and Fox's overall ratings have been falling. I don't know why that is important but I figured you should know since you seem so preocupied with it, and seem to favor ratings over logical reasoning from the hosts of the shows.
When your ratings are as low as Krazy Keith's, it's easy for them to go up. By the way, for the 18th quarter in a row, Fox was tops in cable news ratings. Sure MSNBC's rating are up, but they were atrocious to begin with.
