I really don't know what happened, but I do not trust our government. They will lie, they are unethical and they do not demonstrate the kind of moral character that deserves trust. IMHO
I really enjoy reading conspiracy stuff but that's all history now and if the truth is known it doesn't matter and if the truth is hidden it's too late.

So let's move on to other things. :D

Repeat after me- I am happy paying $5.00 /gallon for gas and I will donate some extra money next April 15 to the IRS to keep the troops in Iraq.

That's not what he's saying. Many of these conspiracies suggest it wasn't a plane that crashed into the Pentagon..that it was a missile. And the question I haven't heard answered is, then where did those people who were on that plane go? Did they join the Dharma Initiative?

The problem is ... If the Goverment was really behind 9/11 and the public would do nothing, they might very well do it again !

This would be so much more reputable if they could have got Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper, General Buck Turgidson, Colonel Bat Guano, and Group Captain Lionel Mandrake on board.

It's great to know who believes this 9/11 Conspiracy stuff so I can know who to ignore when it comes to other areas of discussion.

I think people deviate their attention from the official story and concentrate on alternative theories. I don't believe it's adequte to do that, reason being is that we have tons of contradictory information from the goverment , That's why the 9/11 truth movement is trying to open up a new investigation.

The Official story of the goverment itself is a conspiracy theory, in a generic sense , because everyone believes that 9/11 attack was resulted from a secret agreement to perfrom illegal, evil acts. People differ only about the identity of conspirators. The official conspiracy theory holds that the conspirators were Osama bin laden and other Al-Qaeda conspirators.

I'd rather question the goverment's official story than thinking what happened to the passengers on flight 77, because nobody would know what happened , unless you believe in the official conspiracy theory.

for example, Some people would say: Here's what the goverment's conspirators believe : 19 Hijackers with box-cutters defeated the most sophisticated defense system in history. Hani Hanjour, who could barely fly a piper club, flew an astounding trajectory to crash flight 77 into the pentagon , the most well protected building on earth. Other Hijackers pilots, by flying planes into two bulidings of the world trade center, caused three of them to collapse straight down , totally, and virtually at free fall speed ....I'm amazed at how many people give credence to these theories.

If people don't want to discuss or believe alternative theories, then at least, ask questions and demand answers about the massive amount of contradictory information in the official story.

No. There isn't much contradictory information that hasn't already been explained by people much smarter than anyone involved in the "Truth" movement. When Truthers find an answer they don't like they merely dismiss it and claim that there are still contradictions. Trust me, you are not smarter than the people cited by Popular Mechanics.

Please enlighten me what did popular mechanincs explain regarding the contradictions ... DO you even know what the contradictions are ?

as for Who's smarter and who's not, this is not what we are discussing , we are not in a middle school class last time i checked.

I know what the contradictions aren't - anything brought up by Truthers. Merely saying that something could have happened isn't a contradiction.

Also, it is absolutely about who is smarter in this case. I'll take the word of someone who knows a little bit about the issues at the subject of the controversy than the word of a wild conspiracy nut who knows nothing.

Your answer on the question is wrong my friend , I suggest you do yourself a favor and start researching a bit. And who are the conspiracy nuts you are referring to ? How about you stop using bald statments once for a change ?

You don't even scratch the surface of the question asked by your answer.

If you are serious about knowing more, watch the video i posted a link of in the first page, for starters.

I've watched all of these videos on the issues. Unfortunately for you I have the ability to use logic and reason so I don't fall victim to these sorts of things.

If it's all the same to you, I'll stick to believing the people who can form coherent thoughts and express those thoughts in written form using proper grammar and punctuation.

Theology professors explaining engineering to professional engineers. OK.

When you are of a certain (young) age, it feels really smart and cool to believe in all this crap. Then you grow up and realize that it doesn't work like that. Apathy and mediocrity are the norm.

For some context, how old are you, T-Mac1? My guess is going to be much closer to 15 than 35.

This conspiracy theory operates on nothing but empty innuendo and general distrust of people in power. I have yet to see a single hard fact.

Let's see how your immortal logic operates :)

My thoughts are not that the Bush crew planned and executed the 9-11 attack . . .
I simply beleive they knew it was coming . .. and simply did nothing about it

I feel they realized that if it happened they would have enough political
capital to do what they wanted to do without any one being able to effectively stop them

If i know someone is going to rob your house. . . . [let's even say i'm neighborhood watch]
and i want you house [or don't like you] and know you getting robbed may get me a bargain [or you to move]
while i don't rob your house or plan it
I just simply say nothing in way of warning and allow it to happen . . .
They it happens. . .and i get your house below market cost

Would you say I was wrong?
Would you say I was responsible for your house getting robbed? I didn't plan it! I didn't execute the plan!

I got what I wanted by simply DOING NOTHING!

I think this is what the Bush Admin did . .. they knew it was coming
they had intel. . . . they just simply let it happen.

I'm not going to do your work for you. If you have a contradiction you want to talk about, bring it up. Otherwise, you're just going to wait until I forget to mention one and then claim victory by saying I know nothing. I know how your type of argument works my friend: avoid discussing the actual facts whenever possible because they don't support your theory.

I agree with your post in its entirety. That's how all conspiracy theories work. You nailed it on the head. It's not based on facts. It's entirely based on a bunch of "yeah but what about..." statements and questions.

You are right and I apologize. In addition to children, you also have the congenitally r****ded, those with an axe to grind, and people suffering from paranoid delusions who believe in conspiracy theories.

Calling forth the good name of people like Michael Meacher, Karen Johnson, and Jessie Ventura as proof of the wise, levelheaded types who lend creadence to this conspiracy theory.

That is worth a big 'lol'.

You might try checking with Margot Kidder or the estate of Howard Hughes, to see what they think. I'm sure the Church of Scientology, or the John Birch Society have pretty strong views on it as well.

The seething anger which is not very well hidden behind the surface of your earnestness just makes it more funny.

Here's a 'shocking expose' for you:

As if I didn't already feel like an idiot for arguing with someone over the internet, I now find out he's 13 years old.
