It makes me laugh to see so many people getting bent out of shape about what Max Kellerman has to say. Yesterday there were FIVE threads on "Max Kellerman says" on the first page of the GARM.

The guy is entitled to his opinion (whether you agree with him or not), but more importantly WHO CARES WHAT HE HAS TO SAY.

 

The whole topic is about "Is the Rockets the greatest threat against GSW?"

They are analysts being paid to make predictions. Do you need to win a ring and beat the Warriors just to be called the biggest threat to the Warriors? No **** Sherlock I dont nees somebody to tell me the team that beat GSW is their greatest threat.

This argument of "they must prove it first" is just so dumb. If they already did it then why bother talking about it then?

 

Current Rockets might be like the top 5 team of all-time, so they are easily far better than the Spurs. Unfortunately Warriors are the best team ever so odds for winning championship are still very slim.

 

Yeah, that's ridiculous especially considering they were saying OKC was going to be the biggest threat to the Warriors, i wonder why they didn't have to prove it first

The excuse now from spurs fans, kawhi banged up, reg season doesnt matter wait until play offs, and if we ever win a chip they will say this season was an anomoly. Seriously for respect around the league we will need to win 2 championships going against a full healthy warriors and spurs squad.

 

Dont expect the hate to stop anytime soon, there is nothing they can do in regular season to prove them selves

 

Do they put an asterisk next to their ship in the shortened season? if not, keep it movin

 

Better yet there should be an asterisk on the season that pitted the best against the best, with no key personnel being injured league wide.

But this is sports, we ourselves as fans have seen our sports teams blow a season because they could not overcome key injuries. It happens year in and year out across all sports.

So for anyone to hang on to that excuse is pretty lame and ignorant of the facts of sports.

You want the Rockets to get respect? They need to win a championship. That's what REAL respect is......it's not something that's talked about by the media or fans or more importantly the team......no it's something that's EARNED!!!!!

Regular season records or offensive records don't mean SH&T when it's all said and done.

Some of you need to quit crying about and looking for validation in others. Validation comes from within!!!
