If Morey wants him in Dallas, he will send him to Dallas. If he doesn't want him in Dallas, he won't send him to Dallas.
I have to imagine the plan from the get go was to match ANY offer he gets. If it comes down to it we can always trade him in the future and get something for him rather than just not match and let him go for nothing.
