After watching this, i am so much more encouraged about what the depleted rockets (aka James Harden) have been able to do against the best competition in this league. The mavs may be media picks, but I believe they are also winless against any teams of not this year. Why not throw in some cheap shots. Chandler parsons out with a sore back. I cant remember did the mvp sit out? The mavs are a good team but they have no superstar. They have ellis. Who, while very good, cannot be mentioned in the same sentence with beard.

Agreed. I guess i should have qualified the post. I live in dallas. I always here the media saying things like "just wait this team will hang around" my question? why are they afforded this leeway when they don't deserve it?
Harden has been the MVP of the league, even considering Davis as far as I'm concerned. When you have the best player on the court, you should expect to be at least competitive against more talented or healthier teams. What James has been doing this far with all the injuries speaks to that point.
But the mavs are consistently rated higher than the rockets in a variety of power rankings. Its comical how the media hates us. Bring it on, I love being a fan of a heel.
Dallas is overrated. "Experts" before the season had them being a 3rd or 4th seed team before the RS ended. I expect them to be 7th or 6th seed at best.
