    It's a nice little way for Cuban to say F you to the Rockets for trying to go after Dirk . And also another big F you for calling to try to trade for Dirk after signing Dwight Howard only to brag about it!!!

    Morey has to be really thinking about his decision to let Parsons become a restricted free agent....

    Talk about under the gun...

    Get Bosh signed in 72 hours and decide whether to match Parsons.

    Rockets almost have to do something, if they lose Parsons and do not add another major player, they have thrown the year away... they sign someone like Deng and they lose their cap space anyway.

    FWIW If it was possible I wouldnt have an issue with Bosh & Deng because the Rockets defense would be markedly better.

    Prepare for the worst possible scenario...... No max player and no Parsons.

    If we get the third star (Bosh), then we should match (not my money). If we don't - we have to let him go.

    Question:

    Can we match and sign/trade? Or is that not possible?

    E.g., sign and trade him for Kevin Love?

    I can't see us not matching.

    I believe we are unable to trade him during the 1st year unless we have his consent?

    Match the offer and if need be trade him down the line for something of value.

    Morey lets the market create the market value. I can't believe that you all are surpised ESP after Hayward's signing.

    Parsons will be in Houston.

    His defense has consitently dropped off, his shooting in the playoffs was subpar. Let him go.

    Parsons will get $15 mil. Deng is looking in the neighborhood of $12-14 mil. From that standpoint, I probably match but there goes your cap space and welcome your "new" big three (as Carl's thread said).

    I think the Rockets are matching but will wait until the final hour to do it. If the information is correct the contract is only 3 years long which makes the last year a huge expiring contract for Morey in two years time.

    The Rockets not matching would only make sense if both sides had a prearranged agreement and Parsons reneged.
