Wait, if Chandler is agreeing to sign, does that mean Bosh is agreeing, and he just wants to get it done?

If Bosh doesn't work out, try and work out a S&T to create a big trade exception. Then send it to Cleveland for Deng.

 

I will miss Chandler,if DM lets him go. It was almost inevitable that Cuban would do this.
This will reduce our chances of obtaining Bosh.

Chandler will help the Mavs, but they won't become a championship caliber team with him.

That is a terrible signing by Dallas really. I love Parsons, but not for that contract. Dallas won't do anything for years.

Decline Parsons, trade Lin for something, sign Deng and Jameer Nelson.

 

Morey ain't letting him walk for nothing. He will get something for Parsons.

 

Deng will get paid around the same amount, and a longer term contract to whatever team he signs.

Parsons over Deng easily.

 

I don't think we are matching. Sorry to see Chandler go, but it would be unreasonable to match that.

NOT GOOD.

Even if by some miracle we get Bosh, if Parsons is gone our depth will be really really bad.

Unfortunately the best possible outcome right now is we end up with an overpaid Bosh and an overpaid Parsons which will make it difficult for us to fill out the roster with good talent.

Alternatively maybe we're in on Love/Rondo so our ability to create cap space is no longer important.
