As much as I want to tell Cuban to F off, he's probably laughing that the Rockets are paying Parsons 15+ million a year.

The Rockets will "save" a whopping $2.3million if they don't match Parsons. With that money, they can keep TJones or DMo, plus Canaan and Daniels.

Not exactly missing out on much.

We can fill that bench back with Vet mins to want to come play for a contender plus our BAE and hopefully MLE (doubt it though)

He can do it but they can't? I know Morey's history is not to overpay but they will do it if they have to for the right ensemble of players.

They've said all along they're willing to spend big if it meant completing a championship roster. In the meantime, they were valuing flexibility in order to amass liquid assets and capitalize on market opportunities.

I don't know what you just said, but I'm pretty sure Morey would agree with you.

They were hedging their bets until they could go all in on a sure thing. Howard, Bosh, Parsons, Harden and Beverley is the best starting lineup in the league.

    Damn straight it is.

Bench be damned. That's would qualify as an all-star team in the East.

Is Parsons' new contract $2m on the cap or $15m? I keep hearing different things...
