An eventful FA period that was not so eventful.

We still have the MLE when we match Parsons... Go get some pieces. May as well keep Lin now. Noooooooo!

Touche. I still like our chances with a Bev/Harden/Parsons/Bosh/Howard core - the bench will fill itself with that lineup (meaning players will take less to play with us since that's clearly a contending lineup i.e the Miami effect)

How is it LBJ's fault? The guy doesn't play for us, nor does he operates on our time table. Parsons on the other hand played for us, and now put us under enormous pressure. By signing right after midnight, it sets into motion a lot of things. We now have to move Lin's contract whether we get Bosh or not.

So basicially we can enter next season without a good backup Center, PG, or SF.

That was with the best player in the league, arguable the best 2 guard, and PF at the time.

Because LeBron is affecting a lot of teams with this holdup. If anyone thinks Parsons is a jerk for immediately taking $46 million when offered to him, look yourselves in the mirror and be honest that you wouldn't have done the same. If he'd waited even 24 hours, Dallas could've rescinded the offer and that would've cost him millions.

Eddie Sefko says the 72 hour clock "starts" at 11pm TONITE.

Lebron doesn't owe it to any team to make an announcement on a particular timetable so they can make their own moves.

Lebron doesn't owe Daryl Morey, Sam Hinkie or anonymous GM in New Orleans a thing.

This is also going to shock people, but if you look back through free agent transaction logs for the NBA, tons of players wait until mid July to sign deals.

2 teams going for his services, playing neutral about it is the way to go, some fans are way too petty about simple little things.............it is only Twitter

You're absolutely right and that's entirely reasonable and rational.

But I have a competing interest, so I don't really care much.

C'mon. LeBron knows that Bosh along with the Heat and Cavs(not to mention now the Rockets and Mavs) are in a holding pattern until he announces his decision. Yes, he's entitled to take as long as he wants, but he's screwing over a lot of people including possibly the very team he signs with by taking this long.
