Cuban is right, the Mavs deserve more coverage this season. They started 1-5 and they are on track for the top pick in the draft. Big things are happening in Dallas. Big things.

Mixed feelings here. On one hand, I'm glad Cuban isn't on the Trump train. On the other, this comes across as petulance.

I can't stand the ESPN slant on things, the way they are obviously given talking points to which they must adhere, and how their talking heads have obvious biases. Stein was always a Mavericks homer: "And Dwight is considering the Nets, the (I can't remember the team), and the Mavericks..." Always keeping the Mavs brand alive. Stein, are you kidding? Dwight can't even spell "Mavericks".

Did Stein stray from the reservation now that the Mavs have been a bottom-ish feeder team?

Cuban was....is...and always shall be the biggest douche in the NBA.

Having said that, watching Cuban feud with ESPN and the NBA is popcorn munching entertainment of the highest order.

    Very interesting.
And good news for us. This can only harm the Mavs.

I hope ESPN makes the Mav's the new Rockets (aka the most hated on team). It's a good time for the torch to be passed to South Oklahoma ;)

Figured this was more about Cuban v ESPN.

Why doesn't Les do this, then? Maybe Pops will join in just for kicks -- he likes to be surly to the media -- and we'll have a full Texas shutout.

To be hated you must do something. For example Harden is top 5 player. Sacramento is LOLz in managment doing awful trades/drafting. Phily was blatantly tanking, lying to agents, manipulating the system to save $ off of the salary floor.

The mavs have got themselves treadmilling into the lottery so there's not anything to hate on.
So instead of the mavs more likely they will start smearing Cuban himself.

I wish we were 1-5 and on the way to a top lottery pick.... at least there is hope in that scenario.

Mark Cuban, at least for me, says and does things that I wish Les would say and do. Just a great owner, IMO.

You give us less coverage? I'm giving you less access!

You can literally watch and hear Ramona get fatter.... she is like bamboo growing... you turn your television off and turn it back on 4 hours later and she is noticeably wider. Rumor has it that in LA she orders multiple burritos at a time and slams them down from El Chato.

    LOL at Cuban's tantrum.

And LOL at DALLAS STEIN getting the shaft. Good!

Cuban was probably tried (as we all are) of Stein's SOCCER tweets and his cozying up with GSW.

Maybe Tim MacMahon should have spent more time posting Mavs news and less time muckraking with Harden/Howard stories.

Cuban wants more press. His solution? slam the people that provide the press! Got it!

I love that this is (1) Dallas, and (2) Mark Cuban acting like a baby. it just feels so douchy

Yeah, Cowlishaw sort of hit the nail on the head. Cuban is miffed at how ESPN has scaled back their coverage of a 1-5 team that's going nowhere. The Mavs are in a tough situation and will be for the next 5 years and Cuban, being Cuban, isn't prepared to deal with that reality - for which he's primarily responsible.
