They ain't done yet. When this all started no one though they would get room for Miller & Haslem. No one thought the big 3 would take less money. Miller & Haslem seem to be taking less $$. So I wouldn't be suprised to see them get some centers at the minimum. That's all they really need. Bosh/Haslem are clearly better than our PF's, and we think we are solid there.
I can understand why many here want the Heat to fail at all costs. But as a Rockets fan, how can a person not be glad Haslem stayed home instead of signing with the Mavs? The last thing in the world I want is for Dallas to add a good player. I am glad Haslem is "dumb dumb dumb". It's a no-brainer to me, but everyone is entitled to his own opinion.
we are not contenders. period. other expectations here. We are playoff contenders. Yes in a weakened West. Bosh will be a joke similar to RLewis as a 3rd option in the playoffs until he toughens up, the real guys are Lebron and DWade Haslem is not a difference maker..... So yeah I may underrate them but I believe until I see them in full might
Have you not read what I stated? ALREADY a conference finals contender but chemistry, glue guys and the fact that nobody even in their prime can handle 40 minutes over a long hauling season are obviously underrated here. Personally I am a fan of Bron and DWade but won't do them the favor to actually declare them favs to win it ALL.
If I had the chance to play with my biggest buddies in the league in Wade and Miller and play alongside the second best player in the league, what would I do as opposed to team up with Chokewitski and a senile PG.
Not Haslem, but the Mavs added another big to their roster: http://twitter.com/ArtGarcia_NBA/status/18385690557
Haslem is a good player, but he'd be just another good player on the Mavs, would he even start? On the Heat he'll be their best big. His value to Miami for the first year at least would be much higher his value to Dallas.
