That's a prelude to what the Rockets will be wearing when they introduce their third...so get used to it. I mean, it's the only logical alternate color scheme with the main colors now, so you can just see this league-wide trend of background-to-foreground hitting Houston's jerseys soon.
I really think the Rox third jersey, if they eventually get one, will be black. Look at what the Bulls did for their red. It works, and its proven.
Yea, watch TNT now. The Mavs jersey looks AWFUL on TV. Why the hell didn't they make their alt. jersey's blue? It goes perfect with their color combo... is it because the old Mavs jerseys were blue?
The Mavs regular road jersey are blue, Nick. They shoulda gone with green as a nod to their hideous past. Couldn't have been worse than those mercury looking things they're wearing now.

They should have made their alt jersey the "lighter" blue you see on the trim here. That's the "blue" I was talking about earlier.
They make the Rockets PJ's look good. It looks terrible on TV, I imagine they look worse in person. I cant imagine somebody wearing that, I think I would burst out laughing. A silver look can look good but it just looks to bright. Get the normal fabric with silver and they would look alright.
A h/s we played way back when I played fb had for their road unis silver jerseys with silver pants. The team was a bunch of schmucks, but I liked their uniforms. Not as much as ours because ours looked exactly like the old Seahawks uniforms, which that combination of blue/green/white I always loved.
You nailed it. Once the game came on, I completely changed my mind. They're pretty bad. I like the black idea. I think we'd look pretty sweet in black. Maybe not Yao. He looks better in white.
They look like those weight loss excersise suits. And the PHX ones look just plain crappy. The good news is that they are making me feel alot better about Houstons.
Couldnt agree more, and I was thinking the exact same damn thing. They look PURPLE for chrissake!!! Terrible.
