the lakers have more trouble getting the ball into kobe in last second situations than any team i've ever seen trying to get the ball to their stars. what a terrible pass from odom and trying to make that pass wasn't really a good idea anyway as a play from phil. hard pass to make and odom screwed it up. and how do you not foul when up 3 and the other team has no timeouts? ESPECIALLY when they throw it into kidd with his back to the basket in 2 point range? the only reason not to foul is to not foul on the shot, but their was no threat there. you have to commit that foul and almost ensure the win. lakers will probably lose now.
I always think T-Mac is more skillful and more smooth than Kobe. But he lacks the heart like Kobe has.
i don't know why people are so hard on dirk. especially the same people who defend yao on being soft.
But if you look at it from the Rockets perspective, remember this: We have no chance of passing LA in the standings (unless you are on drugs). There is a theoretical chance we pass the Mavs. For this game only: Go Lakers.
I cant speak for others but I hate that part of his game. I am also glad that he is not getting those calls. Dirk actually gets awarded for flopping.
I would rather not worry about the standings and just play the best ball possible. Unless there's only a few games left and there's clearly an advantage to be gained. Also sometimes a loss can send a team reeling, like NOH after Houston beat them. Would love that happening to LA.
