i disagree, i think Pollard could not scor 25 points any givven night. And if christie scores 25 points it was luck,
    The Mavs have more Weapons.
    Nash,Van Exel,Lafrentz,Finley,Nowitzki.
I think the mavs willl win. i also think they have the best chance against the lakers.
But The kings have surprised me this serie.

Yes (Pollard could not score 25 PPG)
Yes (The Mavs have more offensive weapons)
No (The Mavs won't win, regardless of their offense --it is hard to beat a good team over 7 games playing only half of the court)
No (The Kings have a much better chanceagainst the Lakers because compared to the Mavs interior D Sac looks like the 89 Pistons).

Kings in 6 or 7--no much question in my mind.

The Kings played the best game they've played all year last night. Credit Mike Bibby for the failed cowbell experiment. Every time the Mavs would come back and start to get the crowd into it Bibby would hit a clutch shot and knock all the wind out of the crowd. Bibby really played his a$$ off last night. Webber also proved that he actually does have nuts. He will need to do it in more than just 1 game though. Christy also showed a ton of heart after comming back from what looked like a pretty serious sprain.

Both teams have proved that home court doesn't mean jack in this series, and I now see this going 7 games with no clear cut winner. It's anyone's series at this point. Christy and Peja only have 1 day to get ready. If they don't play or if they are limited (which they should be) then we go back to Arco with the series tied 2-2.

I dunno. I think the Mavs have a couple of huge advantages over the Lakers compared to Sac.

    (1) The Mavs don't really have the mental-block issue against LA that Sac has.

    (2) The Mavs have 4 7-fters (Dirk, Bradley, ZhiZhi (?), and LaFrenz) to keep coming at Shaq with. Sure, they aren't going to play Shaq well, but they can play him hard. With Sacramento, they'll be playing Divac on him, and that's going to take Divac out of his offense (either energy-wise, or due to fouls), which is a huge problem for them. Dallas could care less if ZhiZhi, Bradley, or LaFrenz foul out.

I don't know about the confidence toward the Lakers thing. I think Sac has had more success against the Lakers than the Mavs have had in recent years--regular season for sure. The Lakers and Spurs are the two teams that "own" the Mavs--probably not coincidentally that the two best inside guys play for them. Also, though Sac go swept by the Laker's last year in the playoffs--many of the games were close if I remember, and now Sac is better than they were and has home court.

Also, I just think the Vlade-Pollard-Webber team will be far more effective offensively and defensively on the interior than Lafrenz, Brandley, Wang and Dirk--the latter two never operate there anyway. Also, the Mavs seem pretty incapable of slowing down the Kings interior game--let alone Shaq's. Vlade is also a decent guy to have Shaq match up with because of his savvy on both ends.
