1st Von Wafer and now Gortat. Is this board mad or something lol. Guys should also realize he was in the east now coming to the west. The east isn't known for having lots of big men. How is Gortat going to deal with the Greg Oden, Al Jefferson, Yao Ming, Kaman, Camby, Nene. All the big and strong guys are in the West.

Yes. I also couldn't understand why people here want Artest for 8 million but balk at spending 5 million for Gortat. His stats are low because his minutes are low. How hard is that to understand, both DH and Lewis play majority of the mins against the magic.

Gortat isn't a star but a legitimate big man with hops. speed and coordination like him is a rare find. Did I mention he's healthy as an ox? Unless Morey comes up with a better replacement we'd probably be looking at the signing today as the one that got away.

Maybe Gortat isn't injury prone b/c he plays like 5 minutes a night. LOL.

What an extremely depressing offseason for us. A time of year that's supposed to be full of optimism, hope and excitement has been nothing but the downer of all downers.

Maybe Gortat's favorite color is blue?

Let him go to the Mavs. Cant get all the players the team aims for. The only sad thing about this is that He is a center and that is the most needed position to be filled by the Rockets.

I guess nobody informed Gortat that Dallas is the place free agent centers go to die.
