Can owner be suspended? Mavs minus Cuban is a great team.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Heat are going into a VERY hostile Dallas. Look for Cuban to pull a few strings against the Heat (hotel, transportation, food, etc.....entire team comes down with food poisoning or something like that :p ). They better be ready for a hell hole.

I'm glad to have owners like Les, Mcnair and Drayton... they're just as every bit as dedicated to winning as Cuban but are a lot more professional. It'd be cool to have a fan as owner, but I think the shtick would wear off pretty fast, for me anyways.

Nowitzki upset at loss and the wait

After every game, select players are brought to a media area to speak with reporters. After talking with media from Germany, Dirk Nowitzki was going to the media area but was told he had to wait until after Dwyane Wade and Gary Payton.

"I'm not waiting for Gary Payton," Nowitzki said to a Mavericks public relations person. Nowitzki was then speaking with NBA public relations officials and was being asked to be patient.

nothing's changed about the Finals. Dallas still has homecourt. it's not gonna be that easy for Miami to go in and win.

Was that in Dallas when Tony Parker had a food poisoning during a playoff game after having a french dessert thru a room service?

When ESPN.com asked Howard about the statement from official Joe Crawford that Howard twice called a timeout one free throw before the Mavs wanted it, taking from them the ability to inbound in the frontcourt for the game's last shot, Howard turned threatening.

"What am I saying to you right now, dog?" Howard asked. "Please don't come off on me right now. because I'm going to come off on you, and I'm not in a great mood right now. Get out of my face, man. Get out of my face."

Geez! They call sound like Mark Cuban.

Because he is running a business that involves other franchises and he is embarrassing himself and the league.

So because of Cuban, you look at the Rockets and other teams less highly? If not, then the "other franchises" thing is irrelevent. Embarassing himself? That sounds like his right. Who are we to tell him whether he should embarass himself?

How is he embarassing the league?

Yeah, he comes off a whiny spoiked brat punk. He's in a leadership role and he's damn poor role model for the youth who see him acting beligerent and idiotic just because of a couple of what his myopic mind thinks are bad calls. The league wants kids to tune in but they don't want them to see a person in a position of authority dropping f bombs all over the place.
