Agreed. Retaining Landry and adding a guy like Barry; maybe a trade ... I'd be happy with the offseason.
if you're right and that is our entire offseason we are screwed. the truth is; with the way the league is headed, we will not be able to compete without making some moves. retaining landry and adding barry would be excellent, but there has to be something else major there. if it doesn't happen in the offseason and it's a trade at the deadline, that's okay. with that said, we are not contenders unless we do something a lot more major than that.
I Agree. Especially if San Antonio gets Maggette or if Lakers make a deal for Artest. They would be the best two teams in the West. The 2nd tier teams are Phoenix, Utah, Dallas, New Orleans and maybe Denver(if they get their stuff together). Then you have to believe that if Brand resigns with the Clippers with BDiddy in the fold that they will be better, and we know that Portland is up and coming. That is nine teams that will be pretty good. We will be in that 2nd tier of teams but I am tired of being there. I want us to make a deal that will put us in the top 2.
I can't lie. I'm so eager for something big to happen that I get nervious about losing out on big name players like Artest, Maggetie<-sorry, davis or what not but I'm sure Morey WILL come out with efficient players not just big names. WAR ROCKETS!
