If Schaub hadn't thrown the INT in the 1st quarter, Texans would have won in regular time.

EDIT: It was a leadership interception.

At this point in time, the only people that don't see matt as an all pro qb are disgruntled fans po'd about a certain draft in 2006.
I bet even true fans of the titans, from the state of Tennessee, would acknowledge matt's greatness. VYOFs and ex oilers fans.. it's not too late to repent the error of your ways. Join us!

Schaub showed a little niftyness on some of those rollouts under pressure... most guys throw those balls away, but he was able to get a nice lob "touch" pass to Leach as well as a completion to Andre (which was called back b/c he went out of bounds).

All in all, this team likely survives without AJ, but goes down in flames without Schaub.

Even more reason to protect the hell out of him... which wasn't done today. He hit th ground nearly every play.

All-Pro? That is over the top. I'd take Manning, Brady, Brees and Rogers over Schaub. Maybe a couple of other guys if I thought about it more.

Still, people who think VY is anywhere near Schaub are hopeless. It's not even worth discussing IMO. The Texans should be very happy to have a QB as good as Schaub and that they passed on VY.

It's rare for a QB to throw for as many yards and be as accurate as Matt Schaub was on Sunday. In the last 50 years, Schaub is just the 4th quarterback to throw for at least 475 yards and complete at least 70 percent of passes. And Schaub is the only one of the four who went on to win the game

Hey babyicedog, let me give you a word of advice so you can continue with a pleasant experience posting on Clutch BBS forum. While you might have provided us with this insightful information, you should at least attribute it to its actual source and whoever wrote it.

In this case, you lifted it from this ESPN article. It's at the bottom of the page under the heading "Notes, Stats and Trends."

    http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=300919028

You might think no one reads ESPN.com over here, but in actuality- alot of us do. We shall forgive you assuming it was just an simple oversight due to your over enthusiasm of a Texans victory today.

Well said. Schaub is Pro-Bowl caliber, which is slightly below All-Pro. Still, not a whole lot of QBs I would take on this franchise over him.

If schaub had more name recognition, he would have gotten all pro honors last season. Not many quaterbacks in the history of the NFL had the season matt had..not even rogers. =/
