I've bumped into him at a pub in the Rice village once or twice over the years. You wouldn't have recognized him. It's been a few years since then though.

This is the funniest most attricious post ever lol. Leadership? Playmaking? Courtvision? Lmao. Jeremy Lin sucks at everyone of those categories lol.

Matt Maloney's playoff series against Seattle that year takes a dump on Jeremy Lin's career. Facts:)

Matt Maloney was our point guard during the 1997 playoffs. He helped get us past the Sonics to get to the Western Conference. Besides that he has done nothing else but suck a fat contract from our organization. You should look him up before saying Lou>j lin> Matt Maloney.

Man, I miss that dude. He'd be awesome on this team.

Lin... does make me sort of nostalgic for guys like Maloney. I remember the good old days before everything turned sour with him.

OMG...how far we have come from the Matt Baloney days

Franchise > Lowry > Dragic > Skip to my Lou > Brooks > Beverly > Sura > Lin > Moochie > Ish Smith > Tyronn Lue > Mark Jackson > Charlie Ward >>>> Matt Maloney

    I absolutely hated that guy.

That series was HUGE too. We had always been dominated by Seattle up until that point. I'll never forget that series because of Maloney coming outta nowhere hittin all those 3's

Unfortunately he came back down to earth against Utah:(

Maloney helped the rockets in the playoffs.
Playoffs for the rockets > regular season streak for the Knicks

I would have liked Maloney more if we hadn't paid him for 5 years after he played here. However I won't forget that one game where he hit 8 three's against the Sonics.

Lin's contract is terrible as well however at least it ends after next year.

Did Linsanity happen in Houston? No, so why would us Rockets fans give a crap about that? Unless Linsanity happened in Houston, it is completely irrelevant.

I'd rather have Horry sanity in the 95 playoffs
or cassell sanity or Maxwell sanity or Kenny smith sanity

This guy and Dickerson and turckan all over a local kid who was sitting in the green room crying and practically begging the Rockets to draft him.

    Idiots.
