Not sure if this is the best place to put this but pretty interesting. After the Joel Pryzbilla tease I know Matt isn't very popular around here but it's still pretty cool to see a Houston homer will be hosting a national show.
Wow...good for Matt. I think most of us really enjoy him on the air...I think it's some of the others at 610 that a lot of posters aren't crazy about. Good luck on the show, Matt.
Well I know there was some backlash after his "Remember Me?" thread, but other than that he is a good Rockets homer for us haha.
wow. is he a poster here? I wonder how he got in on Jim's list of guest hosts. Has he ever been featured on JRIB? He must have helped out when The Jungle airs from Houston. So far, I like Petros & Money over the Sklar Bros, Jay Mohr, or J Whitlock. I'm a big fan of P&M on the local (570AM KLAC) 4-7 slot. I'll definitely tune in to Mattj for a Houston spin on Jim's show. When Jim was in H-Town last, I got through and was able to talk with Rome and Steve Francis live on the air. I have become a huge fan of The Jungle, I wouldn't call myself a clone but I listen daily...

Whitlock is by far the worst Guest Host, just can't talk about anything... you have to stick to a couple of his "topics." Other than that I think he's interesting, but I don't like how he handles the show. The Sklars are frickin hilarious. They crack me up nonstop with their banter.
Actually flying solo for this one. Rich is out Monday and Tuesday. Great guest list planned, some local and some not so much. I will try to release it ahead of the show. I am very pumped. It is a great honor to be filling Jim's enormous shoes and I hope you guys will enjoy it.
