Listening to some of the reporting Gaetz sounds like he's juvenile and very crass. There are reports that are he was showing pics of naked women that he had slept with, and paid to sleep with, to other members of Congress on the floor of the House. While maybe not a crime certainly very unbecoming to a member of Congress and any work place. I think in most offices if someone was doing that they would get fired. Barring a criminal case and even if Gaetz is charged criminally my very early guess is that Gaetz will go further on the offensive and claim this is a "witchhunt" by the Left to "cancel" him. McCarthy will make some stuff about how disappointing Gaetz's behavior is but otherwise won't do anything about it. Most of the Republican caucus will rally around Gaetz and if Pelosi moves to remove Gaetz of his committee assignments it will look a lot like what happened with Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I'll take back what I said about preferring local prosecution. I mean, they can still do that too, but it sounds like Gaetz might have been engaged in some official corruption.
