This song is funny... but isn't it sort of "Convoy"-ish? Remember Convoy? C.W. McCall from the 70's?? rH ------------------ Homecourt will always be 'The Summit' to me!! Until we move downtown!! This song is so corny . But I like it . ------------------ "Eat your kids, play with your dinner and join the chat" - Dr of Dunk gives a public sevice announcement at the request of Mike Tyson .
Three days ago, I was taking a practice CPA test and scored pretty poorly. Then I listened to the Air Bull song for 5 hours straight and focused on knocking down long range bombs from the deep right corner just like the Bull... and wouldn't you know it, I increased my score by 10 percentage points. This song rocks ------------------ Rockets Rule
Nadir, The story of how the Air Bull song assisted you in achieving great things is not a rare one. I have received emails from as far away as Humble with everyday folks telling of their struggles in their everyday lives and how, with the divine inspiration found only in 'Air Bull', they have been able to overcome adversity. Take the example of Joey, 16, a counter clerk at Crispy Creme. "I was down and out. I had hit rock bottom. My manager (actually, the assistant manager in training) had just been extremely critical of one of the sour cream doughnuts I had put into a customer's dozen box. He thought the sour cream doughnut was a little too oval shaped and stood out from the other round doughnuts. He gave me his CD walkman and told me to clock out and go sit on the back dock and listen to some Zig Zigler inspirational CD to get re-focused on my career at Crispy Creme. So I siad yessir and went out back. I made sure nobody was looking, pulled out a Marlboro Red. Thumped off the filter because I'm tough as hell. Then I pulled my 'Air Bull' CD out of my backpack and put it in. Two cigarettes and three run through's of Bull's Tribute and I was ready to work. By God, the rest of my shift not one oval doughnut got put in a box. Hell no. Not on my shift." I hope you find further inspiration. Keep the stories coming. Chance ------------------
One Q. How did you accomplish the Kennedy Quote? "The only thing we have to fear is...Matt Bullard!" If it was sampling, you did a damn fine job on editing. If a sound-alike, kudos to the man behind the mike... ------------------
Guarantee that is a sound-alike. It would be a near impossibility to match a sample of the first few words with "Matt Bullard." It was a good likeness. ------------------ And then, depression set in...
They talked about it on Rich and Charlie's show and said, "Is this a Jeff Balke production?" jokingly. Rich and my songwriting partner are good friends and he knew I would hear about it and that I am a big Rockets fan. I straightened him out, though! ------------------ And then, depression set in...
Just to help you out a little, it wasn't Kennedy, but it was FDR that made that statement. But I knew what you were talking about. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
