As I said on the previous page... Claxton isn't on the Warriors anymore. He was released this past week.

So, if a trade like that were to happen, it would need to be fixed...

Also, Morey isn't going to turn over half the roster.

Thanks for going back and checking that ... interesting that he would say that. I'm sure the Rockets want to brace the public for a possible letdown, but I think, at a minimum, he will be traded for similar expirings and some kind of incentive. New York would be a good example of a possible deal like that.

TO US We'll get 7 million. Another team could get more, so he's a 23 million dollar contract.
Honestly, your whining is sounding like you'd rather be the Warriors than the Rockets because then it will be ZOMG JOHN WALL IZ LEBRON AND STUFF. Go watch them, then, if you're going to keep whining.

Battier for Anthony Morrow and Raja Bell. It would be good for both teams. Raja is expiring and Morrow will thrive with the right system. battier could help the warriors. Raja would be a nice addition if he would resign.

Look how well marbury worked out for the knicks. They just sat on him and didn't get anything out of him and they suck, and unless if lebron comes there, which is not likely, they will suck for the forseable future.

If the rockets can't get something for him morey needs to criticized.

You think we could get Wilson Chandler out of NY without taking back Jeffries or Curry?

I am starting to get the impression that with the new CBA causing a major change in the economics of the game a lot of players will get rude awakenings this offseason.

If this comes to pass it may come down to letting Scola, Hayes and Dorsey go but having a CHANCE at Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay, Amare Stoudemire or even maybe Chris Bosh. So the question Morey must ask would trade

A CHANCE for JJ, Gay, Amare or POSSIBLY (LONG SHOT) Bosh along with keeping your #1 pick

    for

    Scola, Hayes and Dorsey

    ???

This is one of the strangest trade proposals I've ever seen. First, it would set a new record for the most players involved in a two team deal. Second, it isn't even a good trade for us. The only player we'd get who could really contribute to our team is Maggette, who is grossly over-paid and oft-injured. Meanwhile, we give up an excellent point guard who is under-paid in Kyle Lowry, our big free agent signing in Trevor Ariza, and two solid young prospects in Taylor and Llull.

    Amazing.

Yea and 3 players who don't play one of them who may walk at seasons end for a player who can still produce for his contract and a top 3 pick. Take out Taylor and you might have a deal.

I think trading Lowry in the deal for the top 3 pick is worth it to me as long as i knew something better for him was coming back. Fact is he will walk at seasons end. Les aint going to cross the tax limit to sign both Scola and Lowry.

That doesn't stop it from being absurd. Keep it simple.

Also, I just noticed that you put #2 pick for the golden state side. I assumed you meant second round pick - but then I noticed you specified second round pick on the houston end. Do you mean #2 over all pick? Because the Warriors don't have that. The ping pong balls have yet to drop.

Anyhow, as absurd and overly complicated as your trade is, it makes more sense to me why you would want to do that if it involved swapping our second round pick for their unprotected first round pick.

Well just posting to see what people think. I got roughly 4-5 proposals. One guy said i was drunk lolz... I'm trying to play the high-reward safe card in all of them.

Sorry to say, but none of them seem very realistic. Yao for Kirilenko and 1st round pick or something to that effect? Sorry, not happening. Trading half of our team for half of GS's team and pick? Sorry, don't see that happening. Neither are realistic. And I'd like to think that yes, Les will re-sign Lowry and Scola if McGrady isn't traded..

Well Rockets want to go young. So i look at those scenarios. Rockets are willing to take back salary. So i suggest nothing worst than Dalembert. Somewhere a team has a good pick, for instance Golden State might bite being the best team with a possible pick through a trade i tried. Some where though a team has a unfair contract. Like picks 10-15 that you can do a deal and get a good pick from it. I been through these type of scenarios. Even using Llull in some cases. Some where there is a team with a pick you'd think where Morey will snatch a diamond in the rough.

Where does or would Chandler fit in with Battier/Ariza/Budinger. (Yes I have/see Budinger as a SF, not SG)
