I feel like if they're not going to trade McGrady, then they have to trade Ariza or Battier so we can have a decent amount of cap space to sign somebody in the offseason.
... or what he wants Bullard to broadcast. There is so much games-playing with these situations to try and up the ante and create more fervor. Similar to the news earlier in the week that Kevin Martin would not be traded. All that does is raise the intensity of the offers for him. Any of it could be true or false. No way of knowing except after the fact. I prefer a trade because that gives us some control. Don't make a bad trade but make a good trade. FA is just too iffy.
This is true. Trade to Cleveland, they tried for him anyway, get that late first rounder for Morey to work his magic.
And you know this because you worked with the NBA before? I always wonder where people get this kind of information from. Armchair gm/coaching at its finest.
Matt Bullard has more inside info than us, but that statement is really vague. We don't know who he asked, in what context was the question, or how much the person knows. Unless it's from Morey there's no reason to believe this; however, it would be disappointing if this is true.
but this loss may change all that again. how badly are Lowry and Ariza injured? it may lead us to change plans again. of course, it could mean we finally play JT more
I wish we would trade him, already. I really wanna watch him play, see what he's still got in the tank...
This isn't really news. Everyone knows there is a possibility that he is moved and then there is a possibility that he is not moved.
