The fact that Smith still has a job indicates that ESPN is going downhill fast.

Would be funny if they replaced Smith with the winner ...

That would be a great kicker at the end of the show.

They would announce the winner on the last show and then let "America" vote on whether the winner should replace SAS.

Not that these types of shows have any credibility, but what they did at the end of season one (Mike Hall winning) ruined any credibility the show, and ANYONE related to the show had. Did any of you guys ever see Mike Hall on the few times they let him do Sports Center? Seriously, the guy was HORRIBLE and using jokes like "we'll be right back on ESPN One -- THE UNO after these commercials!" If the best you can do is have unfunny ripoffs of Dodgeball, sheesh.

i agree. mike hall is pretty bad, and now they barely ever have him on. he's not a sportscenter anchor, he's on espnews at some obscure hour. but i think whoever wins this year's competition is actually going to get some legitimate air time along with other nba analysts.

    "Stephen A. Smith is loud"

    Matt Bullard

I like Bullard and he definitely is one of the better contestants but he needs to liven it up a bit. He's very basic in his presenttation. Overall no candidate really stands out but maybe they will get better as time moves on.

FYI, Mike Hall is the FLAGSHIP anchor on the brand new ESPNU network. I would say he is doing pretty well for himself.

How about that chick that did the double dribble segment with the contestants? She was awesome!!!

There is no way in he11 Dennis Scott stays on the show. You must speak clearly and the only two that do that are Air Bull and Dee Brown. Although Dee Brown reminds me of the guy selling stuff at an auction - he is clear. I like DB.

I can't get over the fact that I might actually see the Bull on ESPN as a daily thing. That'd be awesome. I hope he can prove that he's not all boring and might have some personality, jury's still out on that...

That initial segment was pointless -- everyone talk at the same time about the NCAA Tournament.

That proved nothing, if it was not for Bull, I don't think I would be watching this crap. Maybe it will get better.
