bull is a very underrated commentator. In fact, I think he is very good. He seems comfortable in his position unlike Clyde who just appears to be an idiot
I like him. When he first started a couple of years ago I thought he was a little to bland, but he's added more flavor and passion into his analysis. It is a little annoying when he turns into too much of a fan, but I'll take that anyday over Clyde. Bill: "and Yao Ming slams it home over Tim Duncan..." Clyde: "What a dunk by Yao!" (awkward silence)
Bullard is good but just waaaaaaaaaay too corny. It wouldnt be so bad but Bill is kinda corny too so it just makes it worse. Murph was the best, wish he could come back. Clyde just has no idea how to talk to the public. Every statement he makes he tries to make it sound like its the greatest thing ever said in the history of the world...
I agree. Bull is light years better than Clyde. Does anyone know what happened to Clyde? Usually Bull only does the away games, but lately he has been doing the home games too. I hope this is a long term adjustment rather than short term.
Drexler > Bullard. Not a big fan on bullard on the mic. Too many times he talks about nonsense and corny things in general. Drexler at least makes me laugh with his comments.
The winner of that won a little segment on ESPNews or some crap. Never to be seen again. Bull seems to bring up food, flopping, and how legs are the most important part of a jumpshot, way too often.

I'd agree with the OP. I also think if anyone else has League Pass out there, you'll quickly realize that even with Clyde in the mix, the Rockets broadcast team is about the best in the nation. Some of those other teams really have some poor broadcasters. Of particular note - Utah, Phoenix, Indiana, and Golden State.
It seems there are a number of people here who have trouble picking up on irony and sarcasm. That being said, Calvin was the man.
I'm just glad Bull stopped pushing that "Earth, Wind, and Fire" stuff. For a couple of months it seems like he couldn't go 5 minutes without mentioning his "great" idea. He is okay. Just a little too corny. Much better at X's and O's than Clyde "Seasoned veteran" Drexler.
I love his commentary.. some of his comments are corny but some are hilarious. He actually analyzes plays which is a bonus. He is so much better than Dee Brown (which is horrible). He's all around better than Clyde to listen too even though you got to love Clyde regardless of him repeating Bills commentary. heh
