Apparently a female reporter was denied access to the locker room to talk to golfers but male reporters were. Frankly, I don't understand why reporters are allowed into locker rooms period, people have a right to privacy. Why can't they have a press area outside the locker room to do Q&A?
The Masters is a private club they don't have to let women into the clubhouse and do not let them in as members, in fact one year I believe they cancelled all advertising to show Martha Burke they could not be pushed around. It is a men's clubhouse there...and I have little doubt the female reporter knew that already. In regards to the event...WOW, that was the best finish I have seen at the Masters, so much great golf, and Rory's meltdown too....simply amazing television. Congrats to Charl for getting the trophy (wife), and the paycheck. DD
I felt for McIlroy there. I remember watching Greg Norman's 1996 meltdown at The Masters in an almost identical fashion. Both were equally painful/uncomfortable to watch.
Augusta is now claiming it was a "security mistake" and she should have been let in to do interviews. Forget all that, I want to know more about Jason Day's wife! Best pic I could find:
Painful indeed. I was able to see him @ Shell Houston last year with some nice shots. He had a nice run last year but not sure how he's doing lately.
i was so pissed off they wouldn't do a complete body shot of day's wife. you got all the shots of elin when she was still around. btw, cool guy is cool. living in fort worth, drives an rv to the masters.
What a great day for golf yesterday...what a fantastic finish and man, I was hoping Tiger would come through... Tough day for the kid from N. Ireland... and yes, more pics of the ladies...
