An insanity plea was entered. He then wanted it dropped for "I have my reasons why" He was represented by attorneys then. The speculation was because an insanity defense would be conducted in 2 phases. One to prove guilt. One to prove insanity. He dropped his lawyers a couple weeks after

Yeah, I watched a lot of the trial. He tested her patience over and over and over with his constant arguing and antics. They had to keep removing the jury while she talked to him and listened to so many of his ridiculous objections. It was hard to hear honestly. All those poor people run down. His car was destroyed from all the impacts. Sickening.

Great, a copy cat punk of Darrell Brooks a few days before the Waukesha anniversary. DB is going through his sentencing phase now and the smirks and attitude this punk has shown to the victims and the court are just abhorrent. Why not just let the community that this punk destroyed take some street justice into their own hands?

Darrell Brooks was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision – and will spend the rest of his life behind bars. This, following Brooks' conviction on 76 charges tied to the Waukesha Christmas parade attack in November 2021.

Judge Jennifer Dorow issued the sentence on Wednesday evening, Nov. 16. Each of the six first-degree intentional homicide charges were noted with life sentences without extended supervision – to be served consecutively. For counts seven through 67, Brooks was sentenced to 17 ½ years or prison plus five years of extended supervision for each charge. That's a total of 762 ½ years in prison and another 305 years of extended supervision for those counts. The sentences for the remaining charges were to be served concurrently.
