Mo will be on the IR for the next season and Cato has a standing reservation for another IR spot. That will leave only one IR spot truly open and they would have to hold it for Trent.

    No thanks.

IF the Rockets land Mason and trade Walt for Jahidi this team will have a shot to contend. Im serious. Remember that Charlotte team with Mason and Rice? Well, Mason is just as good if not better than he was then and Rice has a chance to really redeem himself and shine like he did that one year. And think about it, Francis and Mobley are eons better than Wesley and whoever else they had in the frontcourt at that time.

    1) Sign Mase.
    2) Trade for White.
    3) Lets win now before Houston sinks into the gulf of mexico.

Use the medical exception to get Mason. Trade Williams for White. Heres what you get...

    5) White, Cato, Collier
    4) Mason, Thomas, Griffin (swings 2/3)
    3) Rice, Langhi
    2) Mobley, Morris (swings 2/3)
    1) Francis, Mooch

Playoffs you ask? What do you think?

As long as the Rockets never play in Pearland, I don't think we'll have to worry about their winning hopes sinking into the Gulf. If it did start sinking into the Gulf, we could always tow it back in off of that nasty first sandbar.
