So far: 0 bids In fact, the 3 items in your original post went unsold or were removed by the seller. Absolutely nobody is buying Mason Jones memorabilia on the hope that he'll one day be a star. At worst he's Lou Williams? Are you a member of Mason's family??
At worst Lou will is a potential outcome. If he’s in the gym working on his body he can become more than that. If he cares about defense he’s already more than Lou on that end. I think there’s a funny quote out there where Lou intimates he’s not paid to play defense.
Dude sucks. His set up and release is slow as **** and NBA defenders are too quick for him. he’s not very athletic either. If you ask me, he’ll be in China or Europe by next season
That's the million dollar question, I'm not sure if his athleticism can be improved enough to meet today's NBA. I think 25 years ago a guy with his skills could find a niche easily but the game today seems built on quickness and first step ability above all else. I'm not sure if he'll be in the NBA or another professional league, but I don't doubt his work ethic for a moment.
Jones should’ve been sent down to gleague. Out of all rookies, he’s the only one that actually look like one
Right, looks super lost and looks like he don't belong there. KJ Matrin looked like that the 1st time he got action with us. Now he is way way better. Jones don't offer anything imo, rather have A. Brooks.
Not ready to give up on him but he needs more seasoning and reps. He looked really good initially but now he looks confused...
I think the Mason Jones experiment is coming to a close soon. DJ Augustin will take his place and rightly so. Jones is too slow. His game does not scale to the pros and he lacks offensive moves and plays way too hesitant without good enough shooting or defense to remain in the pros. Lamb will probably join him soon enough.
the rockets will look to re-route augustin to a team that has playoff aspirations. Could easily see the magic or clippers or sixers etc dumping an expiring and a 2nd to us for him.
Lamb is unplayable. He is too slow. I was shocked when he scored today (and I think he was too). On defense, the other teams target him brazenly now. He's not ready yet to be in the NBA; maybe he will be at some point, but definitely not know.
I honestly think they keep him for the season if that's all they get for him. DJ has a pretty decent contract that can be useful in facilitating trades next season.
