    Well maybe the Raptors didn't want the game ball to end up like our Houston Rockets Trophy. Living far away in Florida or in some House in Los Angeles.

    This is pretty disappointing - it sounds like he dropped his own lawsuit too. The way you stop this from happening again is to hold these people accountable - sue the guy, sue the Oakland PD, etc. Put it all out in the open and force these people to testify. Instead, the lesson being learned is that you can do this crap, get caught red-handed, the police department can be caught lying to the public - and nothing will happen to you.
