thats a weird standard dude. you automatically believe "normal" people, but assume all "activists" are liars. because "normal" everyday people are always honest, right? and people who believe in causes will always lie, right?
I wouldn't go so far as to say I "automatically believe" normal people, but I think normal people deserve some benefit of the doubt. ANY allegation has to be proven for me to "believe". I think what I'm saying is that my starting position is one of skepticism when it comes to activists making allegations because I view them as more inherently dishonest than a normal person. They have a higher hill to climb towards me believing them than a normal person because there's an obvious answer to the question "why would they lie?"

Maybe you're right. Of course, Wood denies the reports. There's been no declaration of innocence, as you say, since the court hasn't made that determination. None of us know the truth except the people there...and certainly the people behind your "reporting" don't either. You're just taking their word. Is that really better than watching mainstream news? But the real question is... Why do you care so much about celebrities? You put these people up on pedestals and worship them. How excited are you when you get your Teen magazine in the mail? Do you make that squeal like so many teenage girls do at the site of Justice Beaver? How much Entertainment Tonight and E! tv do you watch? Mary Manson is a has-been entertainer with a schtick. They've been mostly out of music for a while...no new albums in over a decade. Who gives a crap what this creepy f*** did or does?
