Why can't semi automatic guns and magazines be highly regulated. Also semi automatic weapons are inherently dangerous see mass shootings. Thanks for making the argument. Since fully automatic weapons regulation don't seem to infringe second amendment rights semi automatic can fall under the same scope. Thanks Bobby for making my point.
They are highly regulated. If you suggest they need to be more highly regulated, I'd disagree. When I say that fully automatic weapons are inherently dangerous, I mean that it is incredibly difficult to operate a fully automatic weapon safely due to the sheer volume of projectiles they send down range. The potential for collateral damage is IMO too high with fully automatic weapons because aiming them is difficult past the first round or so. When it comes to semi-automatic rifles, and more specifically the semi automatic rifles that look really scary to people who know nothing about firearms (those being the only semi-automatic rifles targeted) the potential for collateral damage is significantly less. I get that you want a "feel good" piece of legislation so that you can say you banned something in order to feel like you did something even if it doesn't significantly benefit anyone, but that's just not something I'm interested in. People like you are always looking to take from the people and it's in the best interest of the people to ignore that kind of BS, no matter how many children you exploit in order to push your agenda.
