Just a thought on Cap Marvel.

She was also singlehandedly bringing down his battle cruiser. That krill energy worked wonders. I have not watched her stand alone movie yet but I will. They made her way too powerful.

Just a quick note for those questioning whether 3D was worth it... I thought it was.

Loved it. The final act was the stuff of legends. I think it will be a long, long time before we get something of this caliber and quality again.

If there's one question I have, it's this:

If they established the rule that what they do in the past after time traveling doesn't impact the present but rather creates a new, separate timeline, then how come Cap is able to go back, grow old, and reappear in the current timeline?

Nah, when you see where she gets her powers it makes sense why she's so powerful. Also, Marvel will just have to up the ante on big bad guys after Thanos. She will need that muscle

I only noticed it at the end, it's Tony making the iron suit sound from ironman 1

    Thoughts about the end
They covered continuity loops for the gems and mjolnir, but what about the big purple elephant in the room?

If all the baddies were snapped back into the past, what about the little green elephant in the room?

I'm okay with that inconsistency if it means she stays in GotG. They even get to cheat by resetting the sexual tension.

    dood, spoiler tag

she’s gone. That’s why Quill was searching for her. My guess is when Hulk tried to bring back Natasha, he actually brought Gamora back since she was the one sacrificed in their time line.
Yea. Seems like they let that slide because it was more “emotional” than him returning on the platform B-Bobs age.

Kind of sad today, it’s the end of an era, Marvel did so well with their movies that it sucks that this is the end of this phase. Hopefully those that remain take more of a leadership role in the future.

Secret Wars needs to be next, they also need to do right by F4, Doom and Galactus are pivotal for any Marvel franchise.

I rationalized it that Cap lived his life in the past separate timeline, then used his remaining Pym particle to jump back to his original time.

Too powerful in comparison with some of the Avengers (several just being ordinary humans), but that is always an issue in these groups, but also why she was only used at the end. The fact that Captain America fought Thanos pretty hard does make it laughable that Captain Marvel didn't wipe the floor with him.

I can't see how anybody could be disappointed in what Marvel has accomplished. Almost impossibly high expectations for these 2 movies and they knocked it out of the park.

Now Marvel has to start building back up to their next big event. They shouldn't and won't try to top this any time soon.

    DANGIT LANCE MCCULLERS!

I just so happen to get on Twitter when McCullers likes LeSean McCoy's tweet that spoils the movie.

    Unbelievable.
