better question is who would win between black window and hawkeye without weapons?

the answer is nobody cares because they're not super, and they should be dead a long time ago.

My biggest disappointment with the movie, with as much scenes Iron man and Dr. Strange had together, they couldn't find a way for one of them to say to the other "no sh-t Sherlock".

“Black Window”? What, does she roll up in an Escalade with major-ass tinted windows?

You’re right, though. Non-super heroes against malevolent space aliens? Keep wiggling that ass, Scarlett.

Why wouldn't you include Ironman in the scenario also? Also Bruce Banner in this, concerning the movie this thread is about. All 3 were using weapons (suits), as Hawkeye would have also if he were in the movie.

Wow, but I loved this movie. Saw it last night.

    positives:
humor (constant insults even to Thanos, "rabbit", "I am Steve Rogers" said to Groot, on and on. some of the better Marvel humor, I thought. right up there with Ragnarok.)
plot (weaving those scenes and characters together)
dramatic tension (didn't really let up)
Thanos! (just stunning, including all his CGI, I thought).

    negatives: (picking nits really)
the gauntlet looked like the comics, but that still made it look like it was from hasbro or that playdough should come squeezing out of it. Looked like an easy-bake oven mitt for little girls.
Vision subplot. Just meh. flickering, powerless, bleh. tension always went down when he was in it. And his romance with scarlet witch was just like WTF?
killing half the universe. Two problems with this. It would repopulate in no time. This is obvious. But okay, it makes a nice villain plot. But #2, once you've done it, unwinding that is going to be super, super cheesy. You just know it. I predict the 2nd half can't be as good as this half.

It's pretty amazing to me that they've pulled this off. But this is really it for the core members. The actors are really showing their age and wrinkles now, no matter the makeup and CGI.

Regarding actors showing their age, it was extremely apparent with RDJ. He looked surprisingly old and I had to check as soon as I got home after viewing the movie to remind myself how old he is. 52 during filming, and I'd have thought he was a few years older based on this.

Funny thing about Thanos is that he is the Batman of the Marvel U
Meaning. . . .with PREP TIME he is unbeatable

Harrison Ford is about to be hobbling around the set of Indiana Jones 5. Does age matter? Iron Man wears a suit of armor. Cheadle went from being crippled to flying around the battlefield, so why cant a 60yr old do it.

Normally I would go back and read the entire thread before I comment on something like this, but I tried and there are still so many spoilers from what I don't know. If this was a game of thrones thread I could only imagine the outrage. Firstly, the entirety of the MCU has been an incredible experience to watch unfold. My familiarity with Marvel was novice at best. I am glad I was able to get Ragnarok in last week before I went to see this yesterday. Thanos is probably the best thing about this movie and as many of you have pointed out, the villain that a Marvel movie needed.

Drak's quote "What is Gamorra" my favorite

Also, Thanos to the Collector (Benecio Del Toro) "Where is the stone?", that's a Franky Four Fingers quote from Snatch

Drax is the best comic relief. Any of the Guardians are.

I like Drax as comic relief. I don't like that recently it seems like that's all he's there for though.

He does need more depth rather than comic relief. I don't mind it in Infinity War, though, as there are too many characters to give screen time to and Drax is a relatively minor character in the grand scheme of things.
