Finally watched this. It was better than I thought it would be, and better than Captain Marvel 1.

It was sort of a girl-power Spy Kids/Star Trek mashup. I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t beat the weak one-dimensional villain. Post-credits scene was the coolest part of the movie.

Overall I’ll give it a C. Captain Marvel is the MCU Superman and deserves better writing than this.
