My first thought for where they were drawing inspiration was the "Into the Spiderverse" cartoon movie with spider ham and spider gwen and multiple versions Spiderman and that worked out alright.

OK, "Spiderverse" is another story....great flick.

If the studio goes this route, I'll have to hope for the best. I might be getting old, though; "Far from Home" seemed semi-pointless (minus Peter's grief and his new girlfriend; the villain left me "meh").

Mysterio was a great villian... and the fight sequence at the construction site was pretty awesome.

The fact that EVERYONE knows who Spider-man is, which has never happened within the cinematic Spidey verses, was definitely the takeaway from that movie. Which will more than likely be the driving force of No Way Home.

Plus, who didn't like Night Monkey!!! :D

This to me is a much more interesting end game. Everyone is fairly well developed, quality cast, and there will not be so many things going on we can't quite track it. Should work and the plot is good. If they can redeem electro somehow that would be the like a bow tie.

If it can satisfy my eyes plus a tub of popcorn as opposed to feeding starving children, who am i to question things...

This is so ambitious, I hope they pull it off. If it weren't a Marvel movie, I would say no way this movie is going to be good. However, they pulled off infinity wars and civil war, so I don't doubt them anymore.

There's the added factor that Sony is really in charge of Spider-Man, not Kevin Fiege. But they've made it work in the past two SMs.

The creative team is all Marvel from my understanding of the agreement.

If they are doing the whole multiverse thing....tricking Wolverine to kill all the X-Men was a pretty decent move by a villain whether or not one enjoyed his role in the MCU. Who wouldn't want to see a Hugh Jackman cameo hunting Jake Gyllenhaal?

I was talking about in the movie not the comics, I have no doubt he was better in the comics.

I think I remember him being better in the cartoon as well.

Will Mysterio be the one villain that is not Infinity war related to return? Some would say Loki but he kind of rides the line between good and bad which is what makes him so interesting.

So many dead or missing villains. I can't seem to think of one that has returned off the top of my head.

Not to put a time bomb in this thread for derailment but is it true that Fantastic Four will get yet another 'reboot'? The fourth time is the charm?
This is Lunacy! Ghost Rider and Punisher can't get that kind of love from these Marvel people who want to make the fantastic four a thing. I'd give Doctor Doom his own movie before I try again with the lame 4. F' them.
(sir this is a DQ drive thru).

    Dr Doom!

Interesting. Is it the same Abomination? There were two Korgs now that I think about it. Or was it just same species. Probably just same species.
