That's weird about Iron Man 2 being used to introduce Thor. I know that Matthew Vaughn, director of Layer Cake and Stardust was hired to direct Thor and as far as I know, they were already in pre-production.
It's not really weird if you look at how the movies are layed out to debut. Iron Man 2 April 30, 2010 Thor June 4, 2010 The First Avenger: Captain America May 6, 2011, The Avengers July 2011.
I would put Beast (Kelsey Grammar) into that Avengers movie. He is an established character, and pretty nifty one at that. But I am not sure if Marvel's in house productions want to have any relation to the non-Marvel movies. Just a thought. Kudos to Marvel for attempting to intertwine all their characters into 1 universe. Huge task to accomplish. But this is gonna get geeks creaming all over the USA.
Thanks emjohn and jeremiah for the info. I always thought Wonder Woman is better to be played by a lady from States. The girl in jeremiah's post is very hot no doubt but this lady is simply "wonderer". http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3935410176/tt0074074
Sorry to bring this one back. I was looking at "The Incredible Hulk" on IMDB and thought it was interesting that they had "Tony Stark/Robert Downey Jr." listed under characters in the movie, meaning there will be a Robert Downey Jr. cameo which will bring continuity across both films. Sounds like they are working to bring Hulk into that proposed Avengers movie?
Hotter... Hot... Finally saw it this weekend and really liked it...I was a little weary of RDJr. being TonyS, but thought he did a great job...I loved the action, story, etc...Gwenth looked very hot...I never thought she was hot, but as Pepper, man oh man...
Tony Stark cameo, yes. Hulk in Avengers, very likely. Could be as a member or as a threat. Who knows yet. Evan
saw the movie last night. seriously, when i read the Jeff Bridges was in the movie, all i could think of was, "When? Did I blink and miss him?" WTF? i didn't even recognize him throughout the whole movie! i literally had to image google "Jeff Bridges in Iron Man" by the way, the movie certainly kicked ass.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ent/celebrities/6071559.html Don Cheadle replacing Terrance Howard for Iron Man 2 (James Rhodes/War Machine). I think that's crass for one, and garbage for the fans. The Hollywood "they won't notice" maneuver sucks every time. Droopy Dawg replaces Katie Homes in Batman, Omar Epps replaces Wesley Snipes in Major League, etc. Evan
Money was an issue according to the article? i would think Don Cheadle would command a higher salary than Terrance Howard.
There was a rumor going around that the ending of the Incredible Hulk that Bruce Banner finds the frozen body of Captain America. They cut that part out, and I think they may have put it in the DVD, not sure haven't bought it.
I would think that as well, but they are both Oscar nominated guys. I don't know the behind the scenes, I'm sure Howard did ask for more as his role would be expanding, but for him to be dropped so quickly makes me wonder of Favreau and Downey Jr. didn't go to bat for him.
It appears this is true. The reason there is so much confusion on this is because before the movie came out the director said a cameo was in the movie but after the movie came out the producer said there wasn't. But with the deleted scenes from Banners artic journey that was cut out it does appear you can make out the silhouette of Captain America's body frozen beneath the ice. From the pic taken off the deleted scene you can make out two legs, a torso, a right arm and a head, and his trade mark shield covering up over the top of where his left arm would be. Also you can basically make out the color scheme of the costume as well. Here are two articles: http://latinoreview.com/news/wtf-captain-america-is-in-the-incredible-hulk-5522 http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/found-captain-america-in-the-incredible-hulk.php And here two pics of the shot:
It's not at the end, it's an alternate opening. It was a scene where Banner goes to the North Pole I think to try and kill himself (if I remember correctly, in the book Frankenstein, the Monster does something similar). Anyways, while out there, you see Captain America's body and shield frozen in ice. EDIT: beat me to it.
