    They can do whatever they want in the comics. If some of these catch on, they can bring them to TV and the big screen a few years down the line.

    For someone like me who is wrapped up in Marvel's long history, this new stuff is DOA.

    Comic book sales have been floundering for a while. They are trying all the tricks to get people back (RE: Captain america storyline) A big problem is the comics are being used as MCU supplements, and they are OK with cutting off their nose to spite sony.

    This is the problem with having a continuous story going. Eventually, the character gets stale or you run into a bad arc that becomes baggage for him for the rest of the continuity.

    They really would be served better printing stories when they're 100% sure about the quality than being forced to churn out shock stories.

    I like the idea of diversifying. I just wish they would kill off characters and have them stay dead.

    The only new one is female iron man. If you don't buy comics then this does not concern you. If you do buy comics you know this will last for an arc or two, then things will go back to normal. Or they will have two. It's comics. At this point there are three jean greys. Or at least there was for awhile.

    Everyone knows that if that billionaire, AI driven, machine gun wielding, missile firing, flying robot with seemingly endless powers isn't a white male it just wouldn't be realistic or believable.
