He said Scola and Lowry involved, too. We learned yesterday that the Rockets were in talks with NJ for Scola.

The scenario is completely off base. Given Gordon's injury history he just is not a dependable player. And past performance is the best indicator for the future.

I haven't heard anything further on it. I've stated everything I know in that thread. If I hear more I'll put it on that thread, but I'm not going to make **** up because so many people are impatient. A trade of that size takes time and often fall apart. I'm just trying to add to the website with the info I've been lucky enough to come across.

Ditto. Maybe give them one of these plus PPatt or Morris. Plus Martin.

agree 100%! With Gordon's durabillity being a factor, I cant see giving him big bucks AND giving up young talent on cheap rookie scale contracts - at least not Lamb, white or DMo....

I would rather have Jeremy Lamb starting at the 2 than Eric Gordon.

Gordon has injury issues and you want him to come to Houston??? SMH

I mean, Houston is one of the best medical centers in the world so guess he is a good fit.

And Lamb has a 6'11" wingspan and his 3 inches taller than Gordon. And plus, Gordon is the not the superstar by a long shot, in fact, he is just a younger, shorter, Kevin Martin. High volume scorer, gets to the free throw line a lot, but questionable defense, especially being undersized at 6'2".

Oh and why are we dealing with the Hornets again? Stern'll just strike it down...

Signing Gordon would require pairing him up with a big PG. That would be Dragic, but Rockets may not be able to afford him plus a near max contract for Gordon.

should have pushed hard for Hibbert, and signed OJ Mayo( for cheaper)

we dont really need an All-Star SG, we need a C

I think Lamb and DMo are keepers...Rockets would be fools to let them go.

For the love of God, do not trade our sole 7 foot prospect for a guard coming off knee surgery.

I think some of you are underestimating Gordon just because we don't see very much of him. Gordon is still very young, and IF he can play a complete season, he's almost the exact same player/skillset as a James Harden. I'm sure he'll make an All Star team before he retires, so although he's a smallish SG, he has almost Derrick Rose athleticism.

I like Gordon, I just don’t want to give up our new rookies or Motie for someone so injury prone. Why wouldn’t NO want Lowry? I know they think Rivers can be a PG, but that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me. I'd be happy if we could S&T Lowry, Martin, Patterson, Morris, DAL 1st for Gordon and Jack.

    Dragic/Gordon/Parsons/White/Asik
    Jack/Lamb/Jones/Motie/Camby

That's a good team with a nice mix of vets/youth/offense/defense.

Chatted with Eric Gordon at IAH. Said he's wide open heading to meeting with Rockets.

I may be wrong, but I don't think Gordon cared much for NO drafting Rivers. Rivers is not and never will be an NBA 1.

I have no problem giving up any of our draft picks this year, in exchange for Gordon. I love the picks as potential NBA starters in the future but that's what you give up for developed talent.

The only prospect I don't want to see moved is Monti. I've see enough to be excited, but not enough to feel like he's a lock allstar. Regardless, if he does pan out then his height makes him too valuable.

23-year-old SGs who can score 23 ppg AND play defense don't come along very often.

If the Rockets deem Gordon worthy of a max contract (from an injury perspective, since he's otherwise max-worthy IMO), then he's worth dealing Martin and multiple top prospects for.

The Rockets have purposely stocked up on good prospects in recent years (a glut right now that has pissed off so many fans right now) for the express purpose of making moves like this.

The Rockets obviously think he's not so big an injury risk that they're "recruiting" him. I'm on board.

P.S. If this S&T deal is executed, the Rockets could STILL have max cap room to add another significant piece.
