The young man wants to make a name for himself, more power to him. He needs to be relevant to earn a decent 2nd contract and beyond. He has upside but this is a championship now team.
They should just add an extra team to the league, maybe in Vegas, and have all these players requesting trades make up their roster. Though I see a problem with that already, Davis, Kanter, Thon Maker, Chriss. Too big man heavy.

He's been in both extremes (tanking, mediocre team in PHX to championship contending team in HOU) and he's had prolific scorers on both teams (Booker, Harden) so he had no pressure to perform...and he couldn't get minutes in either situation. All he had to do was hustle, catch lobs, set good screens and not commit silly fouls. That's all.

Marquese Chriss, do you understand the words coming out of my mouth? We have no taker for you man and it breaks my heart that you are still here this late in the season. Name the team you want to be traded to; at least that will narrow our field of trade options and we don't have to waste all our resources calling all 60 teams including the G-leagues. While you at it, tell your agent to call as soon as he finds a team - - in Europe, Asia, Africa, Greenland, No-land, it doesn't matter . We would certainly oblige.
I am not much of a conspiracy theorist but the timing of this given the Anthony Davis trade request is not to be overlooked.
