Haha. Yeah I know man. I just want our guys to do well! I know we're going to be alright. If our hitters can "slump" and still win 10 of the last 13 than we're in pretty good shape when they get into a groove. I think it's 11 or our last 13 if not for Cabrera's fielding. That kid is amazing. 21 years old. I think he's going to be better than Pujols.

Timmy with his customary 20 pitch first inning, but he gets out of a jamb with no runs.

I wish I had a nickel for every time Biggio struck out on a breaking pitch on the outside of the plate. He chases that damn pitch EVERY TIME!!!

Max, I think its time to pull him ;)

That's a big coke JVG has there.

Redding looks good out there today. He was roughed up a bit in the 2nd inning, but got out of the jam with no runs scored.

    So far so good.

I love how, even at a baseball game, JVG has that pouty/grim look on his face.

But then again, he knows Redding is pitching.................

    Geez.

    100 pitches through 3 innings.

Redding just can't finish hitters off when he has 2 strikes on them. *frustrated*

That was a freaking nail biter. Shows some balls on Timmah to get out of that jam.

He should still be able to get the bottom of the order out... "should."

I dunno... Jimy can suprise you every now and then. I think we got used to mediocre pitching like Robertson, Reynolds, Villone, etc... and once we got 5 innings from them, it was only natural that Jimy was going to take them out soon... regardless.

These guys we got now, including Redding, should have the ability to get out of their own jams.

Jimy doesn't hook guys for the glorification of his own persona... he takes EVERYTHING into account, including the current game pace, the pitcher's past history, the opposing lineup, and just how the guy feels.

Man... Bagwell looks overmatched.. for now.

You have to hand it to Timmy. He really battled tonight and didn't give in.

Everett with a leadoff double. Bags up nobody out!!!

    COme on Stros!!!

Cabrera picked a great time to be a gold-glover.

What's up with all these terrible highlights i've been seeing of him in the outfield? Hell... they even had an entire segment on baseball tonight (by John Kruk of all people) about how bad his defense was.

He's "due" for a bad play??

Alright... its up to Hidalgo now to give Redding a chance for the victory.

    FUDGE!

Leadoff double and we cant get the guy home.

Doggy looks like 1/10th the player he was earlier this year.

Anyone else notice Jeff Van Gundy behind home plate? He looks exhausted as usual.

Even though that was a foul ball, Lamb still wouldn't have come up with that cleanly.

Couple that with his 2K's on 6 pitches, and this is easily the worst start for Lamb as an Astro.
