Just got to score some runs....

We have been struggling between 8 and 11 games over .500.....with a favorable schedule.

Honestly, this could be about a 5 or 6 game lead with just a decent offense.

I love that we are where we are...but far from comfortable.

sometimes it re-starts..that's true. but it can be over many times. i think the first time i heard it was over was when they were swept by the cardinals....IN MID-JULY! :)

The Brewers scare me, they are a .500 club now.....I hope Roy brings his best stuff.

2 out of 3 would be great, but a sweep would be outstanding.

Brewers are only 4 or 5 games out of the WC now!

Man I totally agree with you. They are a dangerous team to be playing with so much at stake. And Roy has not exactly looked like his old self over the last several outings.

The 'Stros need to take care of business this weekend and sweep the Brewers.

Great win for the team . I was hoping for a split and I got it . Now we just need to take care of the Brew Crew and not let them punk us out like they did last weekend .

Great win. A good game. That collision was scary. But what really scares me right now are the Brew Crew. They haven't rolled over and let us beat them this year....

They are a pretty good team right now.

The Stros took care of business, 5 out 7 against their two main wc competitiors. Now lets just take care of the brewers.

posting this merely for oswalt to prove me wrong

but roy's got a pretty hideous 5.02 era in his last 4 starts (GRANTED it contains that one horrific outing against the dodgers.... but still he didn't look much better against the brew crew)

But he did look great against the Reds and Phillies in back to back starts... so he's got something to build on to make it 3 out of 4 good starts.

The crowd last night didn't get the memo that we were still in it. An absolutely horrendous crowd for a team playing a fellow wild card contender in a game that could and did see the hometown team take over the wild card lead. It was a joke.

Yeah, it was pretty bad, especially the first few innings. Andy would get to two strikes on a guy and they would put the "MAKE NOISE" thing on the jumbotron and people still wouldn't cheer. RM95 WAS GETTING ANGRY!!

I still bet the crowd was better than it would have been in Florida.

Houston fans don't cheer unless there was something really on the line... alas, last night, nothing was going to be decided either way.

    Ensberg has a TUMOR!!!

    It's not a tumor...it's a contusion.

He could be out for another week to two weeks. Hopefully, that won't be the case but that's what I read.
