I see there's a trend going on with the Rockets of signing overseas players right now and talks of possibly going after Llull now. Another guy who played with Dorsey and Papa is Marko Todorovic. 22 years old, 6'11", 245 pounds. He still seems raw but he reminds me a bit of DMo when we picked him up, just bulkier and has less of an outside game. He has the shot blocking ability, he's big, he also has speed and good ball handling skills for his size. Long shot to pick him up now but with McHales post skills and Howard mentoring he could be a solid backup. Also playing along side two teammates from Barcelona would help him too. The Rockets want Marko Todorovic Speaking in the Catalan newspaper “L’Esportiu” Marko Todorovic who is having a great season as a member of Bilbao on loan from Barcelona revealed that the Rockets are knocking his door and as Eurohoops can confirm, the interest is strong. As he said: “The Rockets want me and in the summer I will take my decision. I believed that my style of play doesn’t fit the NBA, but the interest of the Rockets made my change my mind”. According to Eurohoops sources, Houston intends to make an offer to the player, who may be the next overseas import of the team. Llull maybe coming. We want Todorovic. We already have Harden, Howard, TJ, Dmo, Bev, Smith, Brewer, Ariza, Papa, Terry, Prigs, Johnson, KJ, & Dorsey. It's gonna be an interesting off season. Now as for Todorovic, he looks like Capela with an outside shot. I could see Capela taking Dorsey's spot & Todorovic taking Capela's spot---if & only if---he can shoot FTs. We don't need another big that can't hit free throws!!!
Everyone who is under 25 is a project in Europe. Guys..with the new cap more and more young Europeans will think to try come over because the European teams won't be able to keep up. I have some doubts that an established star like Llull at this point in his carreer will indeed come over but this is the time to take the younger ones.
