but he has a responsibility to shareholders. if things are being ran criminaly, that's one thing, but if things are inefficient, that needs to be kept in-house till they are fixed.
So what? They may be legally entitled to fining him, but that doesn't make it right. Why is it just assumed that it's perfectly ethical for businesses to act like dictatorships?

ummm, i could be wrong, but i believe he matches his fines dollar for dollar and donates the money to various charities.
