Who cares?. Gaines was left unprotected by the Magic and passed over by the Bobcats, I'd rather have Lue. Lue you know can play in the NBA, even if it is best if you find someone else to share major PT with Lue at the 1 if not start over him.
I heard a blurb on Channel 2 about Steve Francis being in Orlando tonight already. There was so much going on in the house that I couldn't catch all that was being said. But that was what Russ Small's reporting. Then again, it is Russ Small.
Lue, Gaines, Declerc. Who really cares if any or all are coming here. If TMac is coming here. BTW - is TMac coming here? PS - Anyone want to give the hockey guy the Rocket's hummer?
I just love how the Sentinnel and Florida Today are talking to Wisebrod and the guy is like, "Oh, yeah, he's coming. I may not see him or maybe we will or maybe there is a deal or maybe not." God, this guy is too much. What a lunatic!
Msnbc posted the Washington Post article, but the headline is different.. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5320088/
Francis pretty much said the same ol' stuff. The only insight I gathered from the interview is that his "agent" Nate Peake is in over his head. Anyone else get that feeling listening to the guy? He just seems so star struck by it all.
Is Steve in Orlando? I heard the airports were closed for a while due to rain. Maybe they decided just to go tomorrow and announce it, let Jameer Nelson have the day. or not.
Here is a video clip some guy recorded from WESH NBC Channel 2 News and put it on the orlando board. The first half is about the T-Mac trade. http://home.earthlink.net/~stealthninja/weshchannel2.wmv I really hope the deal done this week, so that I can concentrate on my thesis.
It is actually the top story listed under the sports section on their front page... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/
That is a GREAT report. He said before showing the Weisbrod clip, "Keeping in mind semantics" meaning listen to the words between the words. He also said that they were going to "parade around a guy who wants to play here" and that the moratorium for trades kicks in Thursday and how "convenient" it is that Francis is in town until Wednesday. I like that guy!
Well, that clip says Gaines is in the trade. The MSNBC link doesn't mention it. I don't care... just get McGrady here. And I just want to add that this Weisdunce is nuts. "uhh... steve's coming up here, it wasn't our decision..." uuuh... and you're just going to POOF and consumate a deal on Wednesday? I'll believe it when I see it... actually I still won't believe it.
Thanks for the clip! The sports reporter says regarding the Francis visit and repeated delays in the deal: "Tmac says we wants to leave. What better idea than to parade around a guy who wants to be here."
