hopefully he is in some sort of shape so he can contribute heck he might be the most bang per buck on our whole team. I'm glad he stayed.

I still hate that fat blob. If only he would have come into camp in shape, he would have helped us a lot.

... glad we kept our MLE.

If the Rockets are willing to persuade one knucklehead, perhaps they will go after a second.

    Maybe Artest is next ...

That's all nice, warm and fuzzy........but Bonzi would NOT be a ROCKET if Adelman was still retired.

    Helll yesss, I'm feelin it.

I think Bonzi will show us what he's got under Adelman. That's a hell of a rotation for next season if we get a good PF now.

Even though others have added stories, I just added the original news video via Youtube to the first post of the thread.

I'm glad he's back on the cheap. We'll see if it does any good. I hope it does. But that stuff from Duffy about how he was disappointed he couldn't be a factor in the playoffs is CRAP. JVG was on like his third try of working him into the rotation and he quit on the team. I'm hopeful about his future here, but his past here is troubling. And his failure to acknowledge it is too.

If we can get Bonzi back to where he was when he nearly beat SA by himself in the play-offs last year then I would actually prefer to see him start at the 2 with TMac starting at the 3 and Battier coming off of the Bench.

    James
    Bonzi
    TMac
    ??
    Yao

    Head
    Battier
    Novak
    Hayes
    Alston

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uca66cK-WrA"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uca66cK-WrA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

This is only good news if a) he is getting into NBA playing shape and b) he is getting his mind focused on the game of professional basketball.
If he isn't doing both of these things then the Rockets could waste 2.8 mill just like they did last season! There is always the possibility if he isn't prepared sufficiently he could be used in a trade. I hope he is back on target as the Rockets could use his skills as a tall Guard, who in the past has shown that he can play the game with the best. Go Bonzi!!!

Don't forget the Point Guard, we still only have one decent point guard!
