    I agree--it is dumb. And I'd do it in a heartbeat. Probably why I don't run a professional sports team.

    Exactly. It’s when Bidge went from being bad at hitting a slider to otherworldly horrible. It doesn’t make for a better overall hitter but…

    It was deal with the Devil, so you know it was never as cut and dry. Astros were cheating (at some point during that season) and Watson turned into a serial predator. Never make deals with the Demon/Devil (Every watch Supernatural tv show?)

    Does the NL DH go into effect this season? If so, every team in the NL has a spot for him now, even if they currently have an SS. No one's going to sign him as a DH, but every one of these teams needs a DH, so you can just move the other guy to DH until you sort out the positions down the line.

    That seems like a deal I'd be happy to make all day every day. No problem at all.

    I was in the most miserable marriage ever in the 2000's, but it was the greatest time of UT sports in my lifetime (born in 78) as football one a national title, baseball won 2 and men and women made the final 4, along with getting to root for VY, Street, KD and a host of others. Also, the Astros finally made a world series. Really good sports.
    But, I was miserable. Fast forward to 2009 when I got remarried. UT hoops was #1 for the first time ever and Colt McCoy was getting ready to win a national title. The Astros weren't hopeless yet. Augie had us in the CWS that year almost winning it all. I said I do on 12/22/2009 and everything at UT more or less completely went to **** for a decade plus and the Astros ended up as bad as any team has ever been. I hope the devil has extracted his pound of flesh for my happiness out of that deal at some point in time. Other than the Astros it's been a rough decade plus.

    Correa is still going after that 350 million 10 year contract.
    What team is left that will give him that so he can beat Lindor’s contract?

    Correa want to be the highest and best paid SS in baseball.
